Each review below covers one product in depth: what it does well for small trade and home-service shops, what it costs at 1, 5 and 15 users, where it falls short, and who should look elsewhere. Prices come from the vendor's own pricing page and carry an "as of" date. If a vendor only gives quotes, the review says so plainly.

Every product is scored the same way, on features (35%), ease of use (25%), value (25%) and support (15%), against five everyday jobs: create a job, schedule it, dispatch it, invoice it and take payment. Each review also checks the workflow that matters for the trades the tool is built for, such as maintenance agreements for HVAC, recurring routes for lawn and pest, or photo documentation for roofing.

Scores are editorial judgments, not lab results, so read the cons and the "not for" list before you read the number. A tool with a lower score can still be the right pick for your shop size or trade.

If you already know your trade, the trade pages rank the best options for that work. If you're down to two tools, the comparison pages put them side by side.
