Our verdict
Roofr is the best-value roofing CRM for small residential roofers who want measurements, proposals and payments without per-user fees.
You can start free, every plan includes unlimited users, and the paid plans add proposals, e-signatures, card and ACH payments and, on Scale, QuickBooks and job costing. Users commonly report report fees adding up at volume and a CRM that's lighter than AccuLynx or JobNimbus. Big insurance-restoration shops should compare the other software for roofing businesses we cover. Starting on the free plan costs nothing.

Roofr pricing is refreshingly public. There's a free Starter plan, a measurement-focused Measure+ plan at $109 a month, Essentials at $209 a month billed annually and Scale at $299 a month billed annually, all with unlimited users and no per-seat fees. Roof measurement reports are pay-as-you-go on top, $19 each on the free plan and $13 on paid plans. That report fee is the number that decides which plan is cheapest for you, so we've done the math below, plan by plan, along with the add-ons and the shops that should look elsewhere.

What Roofr is
Roofr started as a roof measurement service and grew into a roofing CRM. You order a satellite measurement report, turn it into a proposal, get it signed, order materials, schedule the job and collect payment, all in one place. It's built for residential roofers, and it shows: the whole product assumes your work starts with a roof report.
Two things set Roofr apart on price. First, there's a genuinely free plan. Second, no plan charges per user. A roofer adding a fourth salesperson pays the same plan price as before.
Measurements and proposals
Measurement reports are the core. On the free Starter plan they're $19 each, delivered in 24 hours or less. On paid plans they drop to $13, with faster delivery times listed on the pricing page. Measure+ adds material calculations, waste factor, CSV downloads and your company branding on reports.
Proposals pull from the measurements. Starter gives you 10 trial proposals. Essentials and Scale give unlimited proposals, signable PDFs and contracts and unlimited e-signatures. For a retail roofer, a clean, signable proposal sent from the driveway is often what closes the job.
CRM, job boards and production
Starter includes one basic job board and 5 automated actions. Essentials gives you one flexible job board and 10 automated actions. Scale adds 7 customizable job boards, custom job tags and work types, crew management, 25-plus automated actions, a performance dashboard and role-based permissions.
Users commonly report the CRM and production side is lighter than dedicated roofing CRMs like AccuLynx. That's a fair read. You won't find supplement tracking, mortgage check tracking or commission advances here. For a retail shop doing 15 reroofs a month, you may never miss them.
Material ordering and supplier integrations are included even on the free plan.
Payments, financing and QuickBooks
Essentials adds card and ACH payments through Roofr Payments, SMS texting and the GoodLeap financing integration. Roofr says its payments have no hidden fees and no minimums, but rates aren't published.
QuickBooks integration and job costing with profit margins are only on Scale. That's the biggest gap in the middle plan. If you want sold jobs flowing into your books automatically, budget for Scale.
Roofr pricing in plain terms
Here's the lineup as of October 2026. Every plan has unlimited users.
| Plan | Monthly billing | Annual billing | Report price | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $0 | $0 | $19 | Trying it, low report volume |
| Measure+ | $109 | Not reliably readable | $13 | Measurement-heavy, no CRM needs |
| Essentials | $249 | $209/mo | $13 | Small crews that want payments and e-sign |
| Scale | $349 | $299/mo | $13 | Growing shops that need QuickBooks and job costing |
A note on Measure+: Roofr's comparison table shows it as "$109 to $169/mo", and we couldn't reliably read its annual price. Check the toggle on Roofr's pricing page before you buy.
When Measure+ beats the free plan
The math is simple. Measure+ saves $6 per report ($19 minus $13) and costs $109 a month. You break even at about 18 reports a month. Below that, stay on Starter. Above it, Measure+ is cheaper, and you get branded reports and material calculations as a bonus. Measure+ doesn't add payments or SMS, though, so if you want those, compare it with Essentials.
When Essentials is worth it
Essentials at $209 a month billed annually makes sense once you're sending more than 10 proposals a month and want homeowners signing and paying online. Add 25 reports at $13 and a 5-person crew spends about $534 a month.
When you need Scale
Move to Scale at $299 a month billed annually when you need QuickBooks, job costing, crew management or more than one job board. It's also the only plan with onboarding and account setup and a dedicated account manager. A 15-person company ordering 60 reports a month spends about $1,079 a month all in.
Add-ons
- Instant Estimator: about $149/mo billed monthly or $125/mo billed annually
- Roofr Sites (beta): about $99/mo ($85/mo yearly)
- AI Receptionist: about $99/mo ($85/mo yearly)
- ESX files: $10 to $12 each; report plus ESX bundle $23 to $31
Roofr's pricing page layout was jumbled in places, so treat the add-on figures as approximate and confirm before you buy.
Starting on the free plan without wasting a month
Starter is a real free plan, which means you can set Roofr up properly before paying anything. A sensible first month for a small roofing company looks like this:
- Order reports on Starter for your next few leads at $19 each. Check the measurements against a couple of roofs you've already hand-measured.
- Build your proposal template with your shingle lines, underlayment, ventilation and add-ons priced the way you actually sell them. You get 10 trial proposals on Starter, so use them on real jobs.
- Set up your one job board with the stages you use: lead, inspected, proposal sent, sold, scheduled, installed, paid.
- Connect your supplier for material ordering, which is included on the free plan.
- Count your monthly reports and proposals. If you're past about 18 reports, Measure+ is cheaper. If you're sending more than 10 proposals and want online signing and payments, move to Essentials.
Because there are no per-seat fees, add every rep and your office person from day one. There's no cost to it, and you'll find out quickly whether the team will use it.
Is Roofr worth it next to a standalone measurement service
For a lot of small roofers, the real comparison isn't Roofr vs AccuLynx. It's Roofr vs "keep buying reports from wherever and do proposals in a spreadsheet." Here's how to think about it.
On Essentials, you pay $209 a month billed annually for the CRM side: proposals, e-signatures, payments, SMS and financing. Measurement reports cost $13 on top. If better proposals lift your close rate even slightly, the plan pays for itself. Say you send 30 proposals a month, close 30% of them at an average of $12,000, and a cleaner proposal with financing options gets you one extra job a month. That's $12,000 in extra revenue against $209 in software.
If your close rate is already strong and you mostly need the measurements, Measure+ at $109 a month or the free plan gives you the reports without paying for CRM features you won't use.
Where it falls short
Report costs at volume. Users commonly report this. A shop ordering 80 reports a month spends $1,040 on reports alone, on top of the plan. If you already have a cheaper measurement source, Roofr's value drops.
Lighter CRM. Fine for retail. Thin for insurance restoration with supplements and commissions.
QuickBooks and job costing locked to Scale. The $209 Essentials plan has no accounting sync.
Pricing page inconsistencies. The Measure+ range and some add-on labels are confusing. Confirm totals with Roofr before you sign.
Who should look elsewhere
- Insurance and storm restoration shops. AccuLynx Elite tracks supplements, mortgage checks and commissions.
- Teams that want a flexible pipeline more than measurements. JobNimbus is built around customizable boards.
- Shops whose real problem is crew photo documentation. CompanyCam from $63/mo billed annually does that better.
- Remodelers and multi-trade contractors. Buildertrend or Contractor Foreman fit long projects better.
Questions owners ask
How much does Roofr cost?
As of October 2026, Roofr's Starter plan is free, Measure+ is $109 a month billed monthly, Essentials is $249 a month or $209 billed annually, and Scale is $349 a month or $299 billed annually. Every plan has unlimited users. Measurement reports cost extra: $19 each on Starter and $13 on paid plans.
Is Roofr free?
Roofr's Starter plan is free with unlimited users. It includes a basic job board, 10 trial proposals, invoices and work orders, 5 automated actions, material ordering, email and a calendar. You pay $19 per measurement report. Payments, SMS, QuickBooks and job costing aren't included.
How much is a Roofr roof report?
Roofr lists measurement reports at $19 each on the free Starter plan and $13 each on paid plans. ESX files run $10 to $12, and a report plus ESX bundle runs $23 to $31, depending on plan. At 30 reports a month, the plan difference alone is $180.
What's the Measure+ annual price?
Roofr lists Measure+ at $109 a month billed monthly, and its comparison table shows a range of $109 to $169 a month. We couldn't reliably read an annual price for Measure+ from the pricing page, so check the billing toggle on Roofr's site before you commit.
Does Roofr charge per user?
No. Roofr says there are no per-seat charges, and every plan, including the free one, has unlimited users. That's a real advantage for a growing sales team compared with tools that charge for every rep. Adding three canvassers in storm season costs nothing extra in logins.
Roofr vs AccuLynx: which should I pick?
Roofr is cheaper, publishes its prices and is easier to start with. AccuLynx is quote-only and goes much further on production, supplements and commissions, especially on its Elite plan. Small retail roofers usually do better on Roofr. Insurance-heavy shops with commissioned reps usually do better on AccuLynx.
