JobNimbus Review & Pricing: Plans, Costs and Verdict
JobNimbus is a strong roofing CRM with a visual job pipeline and built-in payments, but it doesn't publish prices. Plan caps on users, boards and automations decide what you'll pay.

Our verdict
JobNimbus is a good roofing CRM for small and mid-size exterior contractors who think in pipelines, if you can live with quote-only pricing.
The board view makes it easy to see every lead, estimate, install and invoice at a glance, and JobNimbus Payments is included on every plan. User caps push growing shops up a tier quickly, the mobile app trails the desktop, and you won't know the price until a sales call. Storm-heavy insurance shops should compare it with AccuLynx and the other software for roofing businesses we cover.
JobNimbus pricing is not published. Every plan, from Essentials to Enterprise, is "request pricing", which is frustrating when you just want to know if it fits a three-truck roofing company. What JobNimbus does publish is the plan grid: how many users, project boards, automations and integrations each tier allows. That grid tells you which plan you'll be quoted on. Below we walk through it plan by plan, share the third-party cost estimates that exist (clearly labeled, because JobNimbus didn't write them), and lay out who gets good value from JobNimbus and who should keep looking.

What JobNimbus is
JobNimbus is a CRM and job management system built mostly for roofing and exterior contractors: roofing, siding, gutters, windows. It started as a contact and lead tracker and grew into a full pipeline tool with estimates, material orders, production tracking, invoices and payments.
The core idea is the board. Every job sits in a column that matches its stage, something like Lead, Inspection Scheduled, Estimate Sent, Sold, Materials Ordered, In Production, Invoiced, Paid. You drag jobs across as they move. Owners who like seeing the whole company on one screen tend to love it. Owners who want the software to tell them what to do next sometimes find it too open-ended.
JobNimbus is quote-only, which we'll cover in detail. First, what you'd be paying for.
Boards, workflows and automations
Boards are how you run the company in JobNimbus. A typical roofing shop might keep one board for retail sales, one for insurance claims and one for production. Each column can trigger automations: when a job moves to Sold, assign a production manager, send the homeowner a welcome text, create a material order task.
This is where the plan caps bite. Essentials allows 3 boards and 10 automations a month. Pro allows 5 boards and 30 automations. Premium gives unlimited boards and 100 automations a month, and Enterprise is unlimited. If your insurance workflow alone has a dozen automated steps, the Essentials cap of 10 a month gets used up fast. Ask how "automations per month" is counted before you sign, because it's not obvious from the grid.
Users commonly report that setting up boards, custom fields and reports takes time. That's the trade-off of a flexible system. Budget a few weeks of someone's attention, ideally in the off season.
Estimates, material orders and production
Estimates are unlimited on every plan. You build them from your own line items and send them for e-signature. Once a job is sold, JobNimbus can create material orders, and its plan grid lists unlimited supplier connections on every tier, which matters if you buy from more than one distributor.
Production tracking lives on the boards: crew assignments, install dates, inspections, final walk-through. It's solid for retail roofing. For heavy insurance restoration with supplements and depreciation tracking, some contractors prefer AccuLynx's Elite plan, which builds those specific steps in.
Integrations are capped per plan: 2 on Essentials, 5 on Pro, unlimited on Premium and Enterprise. QuickBooks is listed separately as included on every plan. If you plan to connect a photo app, a measurement provider and a marketing tool, Essentials won't cover all three.
Invoices, payments and financing
Invoices, payments and financing are listed as unlimited on every plan, and JobNimbus says JobNimbus Payments is included in all packages. Homeowners can pay deposits and final invoices online by card or ACH, and you can offer financing on bigger jobs.
The catch is that processing rates aren't published. On a roofing company billing $150,000 a month, every percentage point of processing is $1,500 a month. Get the card and ACH rates on your quote, and if ACH is cheaper, push homeowners toward it on large invoices.
The mobile app
The mobile app is included on every plan. Users commonly report it's slower and less complete than the desktop version. Salespeople can pull up contacts, take photos, build and send estimates and update job status. Heavier admin work, like editing boards or building reports, is a desktop job. If your crew leads live in the app, have them try it during the demo, and consider pairing JobNimbus with a dedicated photo app.
JobNimbus pricing in plain terms
As of October 2026, JobNimbus publishes four plans and no prices. You click "Request pricing" and talk to sales. Here's what each plan includes according to JobNimbus's own plan grid:
| Essentials | Pro | Premium | Enterprise | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Users | Up to 3 | Up to 10 | Up to 19 | 20+ |
| Project boards | 3 | 5 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Automations per month | 10 | 30 | 100 | Unlimited |
| Integrations | 2 | 5 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Locations | 1 | Up to 2 | Up to 5 | Unlimited |
| Implementation | Standard | Standard | Premium | Premium |
| Support | Account manager | Account manager | Premium support + account manager | Adds a technical account manager |
Every plan includes unlimited contacts, estimates, invoices, payments, financing, reports, analytics, supplier connections, QuickBooks, API and webhooks, and the mobile app.
What third-party estimates say
Since JobNimbus doesn't publish numbers, here's what's out there, with the caveat that none of it comes from JobNimbus:
- A competitor's pricing analysis puts Essentials at about $225 a month, Pro at about $550 and Premium at about $1,200.
- Capterra and GetApp list a conflicting "starting at $300 per user per month".
These two don't agree, which tells you how much quotes vary. Use them to sanity-check your quote, not to budget. If your quote lands way outside that range, ask what's driving it.
Which plan you'll actually be quoted
The user cap usually decides it:
- 1 to 3 users: Essentials. A solo owner plus an office manager and one salesperson.
- 4 to 10 users: Pro. Most 3-to-6 crew roofing companies land here once sales reps and production managers each need a login.
- 11 to 19 users: Premium.
- 20 or more: Enterprise.
The jumps matter. Hiring a fourth person who needs a login doesn't add a seat, it moves you to Pro. Same at 11. Plan your hiring and your contract renewal together.
Contract terms and onboarding
JobNimbus says you can choose monthly or annual agreements, with no long-term contract required. There are no required setup or onboarding fees; standard implementation and ongoing support are included. Premium and Enterprise get premium implementation. Paid Professional Services are available as an add-on if you want a faster, more involved rollout.
Monthly terms are a real advantage over vendors that lock you into a year. Take them for the first few months, even if annual is cheaper, until you know the crew will use it.
Add-ons
Two bundles are listed:
- Marketing Bundle: either a fully managed marketing service (websites, SEO, paid ads) or a built-in system for faster lead response, automated follow-up and review growth.
- Communications Bundle: Engage, a built-in texting tool for customers and crews. JobNimbus lists it for current customers only.
Neither has a published price.
Getting a fair quote
- Count logins honestly. Office, every salesperson, every production manager, and any crew lead who needs to update jobs.
- List the integrations you need. If it's more than 2, you're past Essentials regardless of users.
- Ask for monthly pricing and annual pricing side by side.
- Ask for card and ACH processing rates on JobNimbus Payments.
- Ask what happens to your price when you add users mid-term.
- Get a quote from AccuLynx at the same time. Both vendors know you're shopping.
Is JobNimbus worth the money
Run the numbers against your close rate, not the sticker price. Say you're a 5-person retail roofing company on Pro, and the third-party estimate of about $550 a month is close to your quote. That's $6,600 a year. If your average residential reroof is $14,000 at a 25% gross margin, you make about $3,500 per job. Two extra closed jobs a year from better follow-up covers the subscription with room to spare. Leads that go cold because nobody called back after the inspection are where most roofing CRMs earn their keep.
The math gets harder for a solo roofer. At around $225 a month for Essentials (again, a third-party estimate), you need one extra job every year and a half to break even, which is easy, but you also need the time to set up boards and automations. If you don't have an office person, a free or cheap tool may give you 80% of the benefit.
A roofing workflow in JobNimbus, start to finish
Here's how a typical insurance job might run for a small exterior contractor on Pro:
- Lead comes in from a web form or door knock and lands in the first column of the sales board.
- Inspection is scheduled. An automation texts the homeowner a confirmation and assigns the sales rep.
- Rep inspects, takes photos and builds the estimate from the app, then moves the job to Estimate Sent.
- Adjuster meeting and approval. The job moves to Approved and carries the claim number and insurance documents.
- Sold. An automation creates a material order task and moves the job to the production board.
- Materials ordered through a connected supplier, delivery date set.
- Install, inspection, final photos. The production manager updates status from the field.
- Invoice and collect through JobNimbus Payments, then track the depreciation check.
Count the automations in that list. On Essentials, with 10 a month, a busy month would hit the ceiling quickly. That's the clearest sign you'll want Pro once you're past a handful of jobs a week.
Switching without losing storm season
Don't change CRMs in May. Most roofing companies should move in the late fall or winter, when lead flow slows down.
- Export your contacts and open jobs from your current system into a spreadsheet first. Clean up duplicates before import, not after.
- Build one board at a time. Get sales right, then production, then collections.
- Run both systems for 30 days on new leads only. Finish existing jobs in the old system.
- Turn on automations last, once the team trusts the board. A wrong automation texting 200 homeowners is a bad first week.
Where it falls short
No published pricing. You can't budget until you've had a sales call, and third-party numbers conflict.
Tight caps on Essentials. Three users, 3 boards, 10 automations a month and 2 integrations is a small box. Many shops outgrow it within a year.
Mobile app. Users commonly report it trails the desktop in speed and features.
Setup takes work. The same flexibility that makes boards useful means you have to design them. Users commonly report reports and customization take time.
Built for exterior work. HVAC, plumbing and electrical service shops will miss a dispatch board, maintenance agreements and a flat-rate pricebook.
Who should look elsewhere
- Solo roofers on a tight budget. Roofr's Starter plan is free with $19 measurement reports, and its paid plans have no per-seat fees.
- Insurance-heavy storm chasers who need supplement tracking, commission tracking and a production calendar. Compare AccuLynx's Elite plan.
- Remodelers and builders running long, multi-phase jobs with selections and change orders. Buildertrend or Contractor Foreman fit that work better.
- Service and repair shops. A field service tool like Jobber, Housecall Pro or Service Fusion is built for a daily schedule of short calls.

Questions owners ask
How much does JobNimbus cost per month?
JobNimbus doesn't publish prices; every plan is quote-only. As of October 2026, third-party estimates (from a competitor's pricing analysis) put Essentials around $225 a month, Pro around $550 and Premium around $1,200. Capterra and GetApp list a conflicting 'starting at $300 per user per month'. Treat all of these as rough until you get your own quote.
How many users does each JobNimbus plan include?
Per JobNimbus's plan grid, Essentials includes up to 3 users, Pro up to 10, Premium up to 19, and Enterprise is for 20 or more. Boards, automations, integrations and locations also scale by tier. That makes the user count the biggest driver of which plan you'll be quoted.
Does JobNimbus require a contract?
JobNimbus says it offers monthly or annual agreements with no long-term contract required. It also says there are no required setup or onboarding fees, with standard implementation and ongoing support included. Paid Professional Services are available if you want a faster rollout.
Is JobNimbus Payments extra?
The feature is included on every plan, along with homeowner financing. Processing rates aren't published on the pricing page, so ask for card and ACH rates on your quote and compare them with what you pay today. Ask too whether ACH costs less than cards on large invoices.
Is JobNimbus good for small roofing companies?
It can be, if you have at least a couple of people sharing leads and jobs. A solo roofer gets less from the pipeline boards and pays a quoted price for them. Roofr's free Starter plan or a simpler estimating tool may make more sense until you hire an office person or a second salesperson.
What's the difference between JobNimbus and AccuLynx?
Both are quote-only roofing CRMs. JobNimbus is built around flexible boards and appeals to smaller and mid-size exterior contractors. AccuLynx leans harder into production management, supplements and insurance work on its Elite plan. Get quotes from both if you do a lot of storm restoration.
