    AccuLynx

Our verdict

AccuLynx is the better roofing CRM for production-heavy and insurance work. JobNimbus is the better value for small retail roofers and multi-trade exterior shops.

AccuLynx's Elite plan covers the parts of storm and insurance roofing that cost money when they're tracked badly: supplements, production scheduling, commissions and multiple locations. JobNimbus is more flexible and easier to start small with, and its user caps make the cost easier to predict. If your work is more service than roofing production, see our guide to field service management software.

AccuLynx and JobNimbus are the two roofing CRMs most contractors shortlist once a whiteboard and a spreadsheet stop working. Both track a job from lead to inspection to signed contract to production to final invoice, and both connect to suppliers for material orders. Neither publishes a price as of October 2026. AccuLynx is built around the full roofing production workflow, with supplements and commissions on its top plan. JobNimbus is built around customizable boards and automations that also suit siding, gutter and window work.

The short answer

Pick AccuLynx if you're an established roofer doing insurance or storm work, with commissioned sales reps, multiple crews or subs, and a production schedule that gets crowded after every hail event. The Elite plan is where AccuLynx earns its reputation.

Pick JobNimbus if you're a smaller retail roofer, or an exterior contractor doing roofing plus siding, gutters or windows, and you want to build your own pipeline with boards and automations. Its plan tiers have clear user caps, which makes the bill easier to forecast.

Pricing: both quote-only

Neither vendor publishes a price as of October 2026.

AccuLynx sells Pro and Elite by custom quote. It offers a monthly subscription with no long-term contract, and says guided setup, onboarding and training are included. Optional enhancements are priced separately and not published: AccuPay, Customer Portal, SmartDocs, AccuFi, ReportsPlus, DataMart, Text Messaging, the Mobile Crew App and AppConnections. That list is long, and several items (payments, the customer portal, the crew app) are things many roofers expect as standard, so ask for them to be priced individually. Users commonly report AccuLynx is pricey for very small crews.

JobNimbus sells Essentials (up to 3 users), Pro (up to 10), Premium (up to 19) and Enterprise (20+), all by quote. The only public numbers are third-party: a competitor, Projul, estimates Essentials around $225/mo, Pro around $550/mo and Premium around $1,200/mo, while Capterra and GetApp list a conflicting "starting at $300 per user/month." JobNimbus says there are no required setup fees, with paid professional services available for faster rollouts.

Where AccuLynx is stronger

Supplements. On insurance jobs, the first estimate from the carrier rarely covers everything: drip edge, starter, ice and water shield, code upgrades, extra layers, decking. Getting those paid means submitting supplements and tracking them until they're approved. AccuLynx Elite builds supplement tracking into the job. JobNimbus doesn't list it.

Production calendar. After a storm, a roofer can have 40 signed jobs waiting on materials, crews and permits. Elite's production calendar puts crews, deliveries and build dates on one schedule.

Commissions, advances and paybacks. Storm work often runs on commissioned reps who take draws against future commissions. Elite tracks commissions and advances and paybacks, so payroll arguments don't start in a spreadsheet.

Measurements and materials. Pro and Elite both include aerial measurement ordering, supplier direct ordering and a custom materials library, so a measurement can feed an estimate and then a material order.

The trade-offs: no published price, a long list of paid enhancements, and a learning curve to set up the full workflow, according to users.

Where JobNimbus is stronger

Flexible boards. JobNimbus organizes work on project boards you design yourself: one for retail roofing, one for insurance, one for gutters. Essentials allows 3 boards, Pro 5, Premium unlimited.

Automations. Move a card to "contract signed" and JobNimbus can send the welcome email, create the material order task and notify production. Essentials includes 10 active automations, Pro 30, Premium 100, Enterprise unlimited.

Everything included at every tier. All JobNimbus plans include contacts, estimates, documents, eSign, reports, invoices, financing options, supplier integrations, QuickBooks integration and JobNimbus Payments. The tiers differ mostly by users, boards, automations, integrations and locations. Essentials is single-location, Pro allows up to 2 locations, Premium up to 5 and Enterprise unlimited. Premium also moves you to premium support with SLAs and a technical account manager, which matters if a stalled CRM during storm season costs you signed jobs.

The trade-offs: users commonly report the mobile app is slower or less complete than desktop, and that reporting and customization take time to set up well.

Two hypothetical roofers

A storm restoration company. Six commissioned reps, two production managers, four sub crews, and a backlog that jumps from 15 to 60 jobs after a hail event. Most jobs are insurance claims that need at least one supplement. This company lives in the parts of AccuLynx Elite that JobNimbus doesn't list: supplement tracking, the production calendar, and commissions with advances and paybacks. Paying for Elite is cheaper than a production manager rebuilding commission sheets every two weeks.

A retail reroof and gutter shop. The owner sells, one office manager runs scheduling and billing, and two crews install. Jobs are cash or financed, rarely insurance. This shop needs a clean pipeline, estimates with eSign, material orders and payments, which every JobNimbus plan includes. Essentials covers up to 3 users and 3 boards: one for roofing, one for gutters, one for warranty callbacks. A competitor's estimate puts Essentials around $225/mo; get the real number from JobNimbus.

Questions to ask both reps

  • What's the monthly price for my user count, and what happens when I add a rep mid-season?
  • Which optional enhancements or add-ons are in this quote, and what does each cost on its own?
  • How are aerial measurement reports billed: per report, or included?
  • Which suppliers can I order from directly in my area?
  • What card and ACH rates apply to customer payments?
  • What's the cancellation process if I'm on monthly billing?

Setup and switching

Plan the switch for your slow season, which for most roofers is mid-winter. Before go-live, export every open job with its stage, insurance claim number, adjuster contact and signed paperwork. Rebuild your pipeline stages first, then load active jobs, then archive closed ones. AccuLynx includes guided setup; JobNimbus offers paid professional services if you'd rather not build boards and automations yourself.

Neither lists a free trial, so ask both for a demo built around one real insurance job: inspection photos, measurement, estimate, signed contract, supplement, production date, final invoice and commission.

Final verdict by shop type

Insurance or storm roofer with commissioned reps: AccuLynx Elite.

Retail roofer with up to 3 office users: JobNimbus Essentials.

Exterior contractor doing roofing plus siding, gutters or windows: JobNimbus Pro, for the extra boards and automations.

Multi-location roofing company: AccuLynx Elite, or JobNimbus Premium if you're under 19 users and want more control over workflows.

Questions owners ask

How much do AccuLynx and JobNimbus cost?

Neither publishes prices as of October 2026; both give custom quotes. For JobNimbus, a competitor's estimate puts Essentials around $225/mo, Pro around $550/mo and Premium around $1,200/mo, while Capterra lists a conflicting 'starting at $300 per user/month.' We haven't found a reliable public estimate for AccuLynx. Get both quotes in writing for your user count.

Which is better for insurance roofing work?

AccuLynx, if you take the Elite plan. Elite adds supplement tracking, a production calendar, commissions and advances and paybacks. Insurance work runs on supplements to the carrier's estimate and commissioned sales reps, so having those inside the CRM saves a lot of spreadsheet work. JobNimbus can handle insurance jobs, but supplements aren't a listed feature.

Do AccuLynx or JobNimbus require a contract?

Neither requires a long-term contract, as of October 2026. AccuLynx offers a monthly subscription so you're not locked in. JobNimbus says it offers monthly or annual agreements depending on plan and onboarding needs, with no required setup fees. Ask each for the cancellation terms in writing anyway.

Is the JobNimbus mobile app good?

It's usable, but users commonly report that the JobNimbus mobile app is slower or less complete than the desktop version. If your sales reps run inspections and sign contracts from a phone, test those exact steps on a demo. AccuLynx includes a mobile field app and sells a separate Mobile Crew App as an optional enhancement.
