PestPac is built for established pest control companies with commercial accounts, termite work or several branches. Pricing is quote only, and the modules add up.

Our verdict
PestPac makes sense for pest companies with commercial audit work, termite programs or more than one branch.
PestPac's strength is the stuff small apps skip: IPM device scanning, audit-ready logbooks, multi-unit buildings, termite renewals and multi-branch accounting. The trade-off is a quote-only price, modules sold separately and an interface owners commonly describe as dated. A five-truck residential shop will likely pay for a lot it doesn't use. To compare it with lighter options, see our guide to software for pest control businesses.
PestPac, a WorkWave product, is one of the long-standing heavyweights in pest control software. It covers recurring service, termite inspections and renewals, IPM device scanning for commercial accounts, audit logbooks, route optimization and accounting. As of October 2026 WorkWave publishes no prices. The pricing page lists three tiers (Small Business, Professional and Enterprise) and a long list of modules, and asks you to talk to a consultant. This review explains what each tier includes, which modules matter for which kind of shop, and how to get a quote you can compare against cheaper tools.

What PestPac is
PestPac is pest control management software from WorkWave. It runs the office and the truck: customer records, recurring service schedules, routing, work orders, termite inspections, billing, accounting and a mobile app for technicians. Around that core sits a long list of modules, from IPM device scanning and Smart Traps to direct mail marketing and a website builder.
It's aimed at established operators. The tier names say it plainly: Small Business, Professional and Enterprise, with Enterprise built for multiple branches, larger commercial clients and API integrations. PestPac's own customer logos include large regional and national pest brands, which tells you who the product is tuned for.
Recurring service and routing
Every pest company's bread and butter is the recurring program: quarterly general pest, monthly commercial service, termite renewals once a year. PestPac schedules these as recurring work orders, and the Small Business tier includes basic scheduling and routing.
Smart scheduling and route optimization start on Professional. PestPac also sells RouteOp, which it describes as route planning and optimization, and GPS tracking for vehicle location and driver behavior. If you're running six or more trucks across a metro area, that's where real fuel and drive-time savings live, so get RouteOp priced in your quote rather than assuming it's included.
Callbacks and re-services are handled as work orders tied to the original service, which keeps the history together when a customer calls back about ants two weeks after treatment.
Termite, IPM and commercial accounts
This is where PestPac separates itself from cheaper apps.
- Termite inspections. Included from the Small Business tier. PestPac says techs can manage termite inspections and renewals from the field, which matters if you do real estate inspections or carry a book of annual termite warranties.
- IPM. Starting on Professional, the IPM module lets techs view orders, inspect areas, scan devices, track pest activity and document findings on site. That's how you service a food plant or a hospital with dozens of numbered rodent stations and interior monitors.
- Logbook and auditor reports. PestPac's CustomerConnect + Logbook gives commercial customers access to inspection reports, sighting logs and licensing information, which PestPac says cuts audit preparation time. Enterprise lists "Logbook and Auditor Reports" specifically.
- Multi-unit building management. Professional adds tracking for apartment complexes, with follow-up treatments and compliance by unit. Bed bug and roach work in multifamily housing lives or dies on this.
- Mobile Sketch. Techs can draw on satellite imagery to show pest sightings, areas treated and materials used.
Chemical use tracking sits in PestPac's inventory management module, which it describes as tracking material usage. State rules on what you must record for each application vary, so confirm with your demo rep that the product, EPA number, rate and target pest fields you need are captured and print on the service ticket.
Billing, accounting and payments
Small Business includes billing, payments and basic accounting. Professional and Enterprise add advanced accounting with general ledger export, which is what your bookkeeper or CPA will want once you have several branches or a mix of residential and commercial contracts on different terms. In-field payment processing is listed as a feature, and WorkWave offers its own financial services. PestPac doesn't publish processing rates, so ask for them alongside the software quote.
Marketing, sales and customer communication
PestPac goes further than most pest software into the front office. Professional adds customer communications, lead management, eCommerce and marketing automation for email and drip campaigns. As separate modules, WorkWave sells a Sales Center for tracking leads and opportunities, online review requests, customer surveys, a website builder, and digital, print and direct mail marketing services.
For a company with a CSR team and a marketing budget, buying those from the same vendor that holds the customer list has a real upside: the renewal mailer goes only to customers whose termite warranty is actually due. For a smaller shop, most of these will sit unused, so leave them off the first quote.
Rolling out PestPac
Plan the switch for your slow season, which for most residential pest companies means late fall or winter, not the spring rush when ant and termite swarm calls peak. A system this size takes weeks to configure: service types, pricing, recurring schedules, chemical lists, device maps for commercial accounts, and billing terms.
Before you sign, ask exactly what the data conversion covers. Customer and location records are standard. Service history, chemical application records, termite warranty dates and device maps for commercial sites are the pieces most likely to get lost, and they're the pieces you need if a regulator or a commercial auditor asks. Keep read-only access to your old system until you've confirmed they came across.
PestPac pricing in plain terms
PestPac is quote only. As of October 2026 there are no dollar figures anywhere on the pricing page, and no free trial is listed. Here's what each tier includes, based on PestPac's published lists:
| Tier | What's included |
|---|---|
| Small Business | Customer management, basic scheduling and routing, termite inspection, mobile app, billing and payments, basic accounting, basic reporting, customer portal |
| Professional | Adds smart scheduling and route optimization, termite/IPM/multi-unit support, digital forms, advanced accounting with GL export, custom reporting, customer communications, lead management, eCommerce, logbook, marketing automation |
| Enterprise | Adds multi-branch, logbook and auditor reports, API integrations |
On top of the tier, modules are sold separately. Owners commonly report that "every module is an upgrade," and that matches how the pricing page is laid out.
Because there's no number to anchor on, the quote process is where you protect yourself. Ask for:
- The billing basis: per user, per technician, per branch, or a package price.
- Every module in the quote listed by name with its own monthly price.
- One-time onboarding, data conversion and training fees.
- Contract length, renewal terms and any annual price increase cap.
- Card and ACH processing rates if you'll use WorkWave payments.
- What happens to your data, and in what format, if you leave.
Then compare the total against a tool with published pricing at your size. For a three-route residential shop, GorillaDesk Pro is $199 a month with unlimited users as of October 2026. If PestPac's quote is several times that, the question is whether IPM, audit logbooks and termite renewals are worth the difference for your book of business.
Where PestPac falls short
Ease of use is the most common complaint. Owners commonly report a dated interface and a steep learning curve, which means CSR training takes longer and new techs need more hand-holding than with newer apps.
The module structure makes costs hard to predict. Features a small shop might expect in the base product, such as route optimization or custom reports, start a tier up or come as add-ons.
The sales process is slow by design. No published price and no self-serve trial means you can't evaluate PestPac on a Tuesday night after the kids are in bed. You book a demo, wait for a quote and negotiate.
Who should look elsewhere
Small residential shops should look at GorillaDesk, which prices per route with unlimited users and includes chemical tracking and device barcoding on Pro. Mid-size pest and lawn companies that want a pest-built system without the module sprawl should get a quote from Briostack. If your main competitor for a PestPac quote is FieldRoutes, run both demos with the same customer list and service mix, and make each vendor price the same list of features in writing.
Questions owners ask
How much does PestPac cost?
PestPac doesn't publish prices. As of October 2026 its pricing page lists three tiers, Small Business, Professional and Enterprise, and asks you to speak with a consultant to build a package. Modules are priced separately on top of the tier. Ask for a written quote that lists every module, the per-user or per-tech basis, onboarding costs and contract length.
Does PestPac have a free trial?
No free trial is listed. PestPac's process runs through a demo and a consultant-built quote. If you want to try software yourself before talking to sales, GorillaDesk offers a free trial and publishes its prices, though it's built for smaller residential route businesses.
What's the difference between PestPac Small Business and Professional?
Small Business covers customer management, basic scheduling and routing, termite inspection, the mobile app, billing and payments, basic accounting, basic reporting and a customer portal. Professional adds smart scheduling and route optimization, IPM and multi-unit support, digital forms, advanced accounting with general ledger export, custom reporting, customer communications, lead management, eCommerce, a logbook and marketing automation.
Who owns PestPac?
PestPac is a WorkWave product. WorkWave also sells other field service software, and PestPac connects to WorkWave services such as payments, marketing and financial tools. If you're comparing pest platforms, FieldRoutes is the other big name in the category and is owned by ServiceTitan.
Is PestPac good for a small pest control company?
It can work, but it's usually more system than a one to five-truck residential shop needs, and the quote-only pricing makes it hard to compare. Owners commonly report that each module is an upgrade. Small shops running quarterly residential routes often get better value from a per-route tool like GorillaDesk or a mid-market option like Briostack.
